29 Minutes Calm, 1 Minute Panic
Urgent Need!

We currently have an urgent need for Master Control Operators.

The person who plays Blue Mountain Television's on air programs, is called the Master Control Operator.

Running master control has sometimes been described by volunteers as 29 minutes of calm followed by 1 minute of panic.

It’s hard work, and volunteers should have a basic understanding of technology. Running master control is a lot like running your VCR or DVD player... except there are multiple machines and several thousand people watching you.

Sound intimidating? We hope so. Being a master control operator is an important job. Not only is the credibility of Blue Mountain Television on the line, but so is the credibility of the faith and the ideas we’re sharing.

But don’t be afraid. With training and support, you’ll be prepared.

Deciding to be a Master Control Operator is not just about your interest in technology or about the staffs desire to see more variety and stability in programing. It's about introducing people to a whole new life with Christ.

You can volunteer for as little as 45 minutes a week and Volunteer hours are flexible.

You can make a difference.

Volunteering Helps All
Your support of the ministry of Blue Mountain Television is vital.

Volunteering at Blue Mountain Television is a blessing.

Of course, the benefit that the station receives from the volunteer time is obvious. It saves the ministry money and provides a pool of talented individuals who do many things from putting programs on the air, running cameras, operating audio boards and creating graphics to professional jobs like engineering and accounting.

The opportunity to be a part of a ministry is also a tremendous joy to those who volunteer. It is fun to be part of a team of people who's mission is to share the good news of Jesus love for us with our community. There is no higher calling! You can join the team of special people who volunteer at BMT. Just call us at 529-9149.
